BrushThralls.com is proud to announce a new article by Mikael "mananarepublic" Astrom. Cavalry is an integral part of many tabletop games and sometimes figuring out how to paint those horses can be quite tricky. Please enjoy this new offering from BrushThralls.com and feel free to discuss the tips and tricks in the forums.

Lovely timing - I found some old Chaos Knights from Warhammer that I was going to try my hand at painting!

I've got some feedback about this article - I've been using when painting up my Uhlans, Fenris and now the Drakhun.

I found the "Bay" to be straightforward, as you're running basic colours. I'm trying the "Chestnut" right now, but feel that I've failed mixing the P3 paints. It would be helpful for newer painters to perhaps get an idea of the ratios between component paints.

At the same time, breaking the article into flesh, mane and armour would help follow the steps for each area. At the moment I feel that the article is a bit hard to follow.
